Woolshops Shopping Centre, Halifax

The Woolshops Shopping centre is a multi store development in the centre of Halifax, West Yorkshire. Originally a street and building, which still stands and was incorporated in to the centre, the area was redeveloped in the early 1980's with phase 1 of the Woolshops Shopping Centre opening in 1983. The original plan had been for a much bigger covered development by the Arndale Centre's owners, but this was rejected after a public inquiry in the late 1970's. A 2nd phase in the 1990's saw shops added along the edge of the car park from the entrance to the Piece Hall's northern gate.

The Woolshops now features stores that include, electrical, clothing, entertainment, health, coffee shops and much more. These pictures were taken on the 27th May 2018 using a Nikon d3300 SLR, there are a total of 22 which can be seen with 3 exclusive to Clickasnap and the rest viewable here and on Flickr.
