An Allan Park Winter

Allan Park is a small public park near Sowerby Bridge Railway station that is built in to levels up the Norland hillside. The park was once the grounds of Allan House which was purchased by the council in 1922 with the intention of building a swimming pool. This however never happened and the house was turned in to a clinic with the grounds being turned in to a bowling green, playground and woodland walking area. Underneath the park grounds runs Scar Head Tunnel which used to carry the Rishworth Branch Railway Line.

The pictures were taken with a Nikon d3300 SLR on the 18th March 2018, they can be seen below and on Clickasnap un-watermarked.
