The Church of St John the Baptist, Rogerstone, South Wales.

The church of St John the Baptist is an Anglican Church of Wales place of worship that's can be found on the corner of Wern Terrace and St John's Crescent in the village of Rogerstone, Nr Newport, South Wales. This was and still is the only time i have ever visited Rogerstone, I was there to collect a load and had to wait overnight so never got to explore anything else or find any information on the church.  What little i did find online is below.

The church was opened in 1888 and was a church of England church until disestablishment in 1920. The foundation stone was laid by Lord Tredegar in August 1887 and the church cost £2370, it was designed by E.A Johnson of Abergavenny and dedicated to St John the Baptist by the Bishop of Llandaff who at the time of opening was Richard Lewis.

These pictures were taken with my Nikon d3300 SLR camera on the 23rd May 2016. They can also be seen on ClickASnap full size, resolution and un-watermarked.
